Help the Fight Against Hunger!
It's time to clean out your cupboards and stockpiles and give generously to the "Stamp Out Hunger" food drive this Saturday, May 8th. What can you give?
Simply fill a bag(s) with non-perishable items like canned fruits/veggies/meats, snacks, pasta, soups, cereal, rice, juice, etc. and leave them next to your mailbox for your mail carrier. The Post Office will deliver all of the food collected to area food banks or pantries.
This would be a great teaching moment with your kids. Let little ones help you clean out your cupboards and fill these bags to giveaway! How fun! I'm excited to do this with Britain.
If you click "like" Libby's on Facebook, you can get a FREE can of Libby's Vegetables now through May 15th. Click here to get your FREE can! This would be an easy way to add one item to your food drive bag!
Please help spread the word.

Generous Living
God has given Chris and I both the desire to live generously but most of the time, we feel "restricted" in our giving because we live paycheck to paycheck. So, until we have money overflowing in the bank (ha!), I'm really going to buckle down and start saving up on toiletries, feminine products, food and misc. items to give to local ministries in our area. I'll be posting about my stash as it grows! This past December, I was able to get a free Diabetic kit and it's still sitting in my closet doing no one any good! Excited to build my stash and bless others!
Money Saving Mom posted about some freebies at Target this week that would make for GREAT giveaway items.
What do you do with your freebie stash?
