Sunday Super Savings

The kids and I ventured out first thing this morning to avoid the tax-free weekend crowds!  I got the majority of grocery shopping done by myself last night, got some good deals and saved around $60.  We picked up a few more good deals this morning that I wanted to share.

Target:
2 Bic 8-pack Mechanical pencils $1.20 each (used $1/2 Target Q AND $1/2 Bic manf. Q) = $.40
2 Dannon Smoothie 6-packs $1.66 each (used (2) $1/1 manf. Qs) = $1.32
TOTAL:  $1.72 pre-tax

Kroger:
Returned pack of Pampers diapers for pack of Pull-ups (our son is doing great with potty training!) Exchanged plus used $1.50/1 manf. Q) = $.72 overage
Lady Speed Stick $.88 (used $.50/1) = FREE
Newspaper $1.19 (sale price)
TOTAL:  Kroger paid me $.26!!!!!!!!!

  1. Hey Brooke! This blog is FABULOUS! I wanted to let your readers know that this week (8/8-8/14) Walgreens has their High Trails Backpacks for $3.99. They are full-sized backpacks in boy and girls patterns. They retail for $9.99. I know this because our church (NewLife) is collecting backpacks for underpriviledged children for this school year. So if you know anyone who would want to donate please pass on this opportunity. You can donate online @ NewLifeGG.com Thanks for ALL of your wonderful tips. This is just BRILLIANT!
